In the past few years, various types of low carb diets have become popular such as the Atkins diet, the Sugar Busters, The Zone and so on. Many of these diets are quite effective if all you want to do is lose weight. However, if you are more interested in building muscle, you shouldn’t just jump into any type of diet. A low carb bodybuilding diet is known for drastically cutting down on your bad carb intake while still requiring you to consume substantial amounts of good carbs. As your muscles get bigger, your body will need more nutrients and carbohydrates, which can be adequately supplied by your bodybuilding diet in the form of green vegetables, whole grains and berries.
