Gaining Muscle Mass
Apr 22nd, 2010
When it comes to gaining muscle mass, you probably should be very realistic about your goals and your time frame when you plan your workouts. It’s probably a good idea to start out with a basic muscle building program to help build your core muscles and then work from there to build muscle mass. When you start out with basically any exercise program that is trying to gain muscle mass, you normally will have to start with the mundane exercises such as the push-ups, sit-ups and the medicine ball workout.
Furthermore, when you begin doing these basic exercises, you need to stay focused with these exercises and do them repeatedly and consistently for two to three months. This will help to build up your core muscles before you move on to gaining muscle mass. Once this is accomplished then you can move on to the hard core weight workouts. You can then start to do exercises with high weight and low reps instead of low weight and high reps which will produce a more lean body. Also, don’t forget to think about your diet. It’s a good idea to add more protein meals and cut out as much fat as possible.
