Many people are curious about the prices of common plastic surgery procedures, but are unaware of many misconceptions surrounding them. For instance, many doctors will quote you the “surgeon’s fee” when asked for a price, but do not always include other fees, such as for anesthesia, the implants themselves (if applicable), and the operating room fee. Also, many people expect that plastic surgery prices will vary according to location, which is usually not true. Only in a few areas, such as New York, will prices see much variation in comparison to other areas and cities.
