If you’ve been weight training for a while, it’s inevitible that at some point you’ll hit a wall in your gains in strength and size. Your workouts may also become boring and not give you the same pumped feeling you got at first. Whether you’ve hit a plateau, gotten bored, or both there’s one high intensity weight training workout you can try that’s guaranteed to kick your butt – the 10 sets of 10 workout. The 10 sets of 10 workout sounds simple enough – you do 10 sets of 10 reps. What makes it interesting is that you take a major compound exercise for the muscle group you’re working out that day and do 10 sets of 10 reps with one minute of rest between sets using a weight that you can normally do for 20 reps to failure. This is harder than it sounds and should get you through a plateau and on your way to building more muscle.

To build muscle for any part of the body it’s very important to do full reps during your exercises. Part of a full rep is getting a nice stretch at the beginning of a rep and a good muscle contraction at the end of it. While you can get the hard contraction you need to build the abs at the end of a crunch rep on a flat bench, you won’t be getting much of a stretch because the bench won’t allow you to go any further back at the beginning of a rep. To get that stretch to start a crunch rep you should do abdominal exercises on a core ball. When you do core ball ab exercises you’ll be able to stretch your midsection to start the rep which should result in an even better contraction at the end of it. Training your abdominals on a core ball will also allow you a lot of variety.

Have you ever had the need to lose weight in a hurry? Maybe you have an important social function to attend, and you are desperate to look your best? Perhaps you want to slip on your favourite dress, but that dress no longer slips over you?
So the question is whether you can lose several pounds in a short space of time. One thing that you cannot do is simply stop eating. Not only is it unhealthy, but it rarely works, especially if you want your weight loss to be sustainable. Your body is smart, and slows down your metabolism in order to better conserver its resources. So, the less you eat, the less your body uses up. And starving your body of fuel and nutrients cannot be considered safe. So how can safe weight loss be achieved?
At the top of your list of things to do today should be more exercise! If you’re sincere about shedding weight in a week, an exercise routine is your best friend. Cycling, swimming and running are exceptional forms of exercise that truly burn the calories.
If you don’t have access to the gym, or if the weather is bad, then do some routines at home, Anything that starts your brow sweating will help you. Simple step ups on your stairs would be a good exercise for example. Turn some motivational music on nice and loud and get sweaty. The more fun you can make it, the easier it will be to persevere. If you exercise once a day, then do two workouts a day instead.
While you’re making every attempt to burn calories – and fat – you must be sure to eat appropriately. Cut all out of your menus that has the tiniest hint of fat. No fat permitted. What you must include is lots of protein and every vitamin and mineral you can find. Veggies and fruit provide fibre and nourishment in abundance, while being low in calories. Take a good supplement to be sure you’re receiving what your body wants to stay in good physical shape. Heap your salad platter full of dark greens and your preferred veggies and seasonings. If you are eating salads, then watch the dressings that you put on them. You will like olive oil and vinegar dressings if you don’t already enjoy them.
Don’t watch your weight so closely that you are on the scales every five minutes. Weigh yourself at the beginning and then give yourself a few days before weighing yourself again. You will be more encouraged if you find you have lost a few pounds after three days say, than if you constantly watch the scales and see no quick improvement. Make sure you stick to your exercise plan, and watch what you eat and everything will fall into place for you.

A weight lifting bar is equipment known as plate hangers, the major role of a weight lifting bar is to support at right angles or parallel all weights to the bar at a selected distance. The bar are also use for exercise under some condition, such as when lifting underneath the bar to be on the floor.
A weight lifting bar is made up of an extended cylindrical bar that is surrounded by a revolving sleeve with a shorter length than slid bar. The accessory of bar made up of a sleeve that slides on top of the end, portions depending on the plate hanger. A bar that supports weight while extending at right angles is said to be a lifting bar and the lower portion is said as plate hanger.
Weights are mounted on each side of plate hanger, given weights that have holes in the centre for easy sliding engagement and clamping is done to hold it tight. The weights is slid directly into the end of weight lifting bar to make it into a straight weight lifting bar.
